The North Yorkshire Moors Railways was my first real encounter with heritage railways. There is however one problem with it: so many people that the trains drown in them. That is the quality of this picture, it is about the steam engine! Nicely done in a bright and sunny English landscape.
Nice scene, cool engine!
Superb photo, great catch!
the composition is very intresting for the eye, luckily the conductor was looking out which gives an even more personal touch
good luck on raiseing awareness guys
Lovely nostalgic picture.
I like how I can see farther down the line past the end of the train. Gives one a good sense of... the lay of the line, perhaps? Anyways, great composition.
I agree with the timeless comment, and must also comment that that's a proper train, not like the pathetic four carriage services behind an 8P on a certain local line that we all know and love...
Another timeless photo, Could so easily have been taken when we lived life at a more leisurely pace.
I was out for spotting today but we have only boring colors on them
looks good with the country side
